Murderess Lena Baker is executed by Old Sparky at the age of 45 in Georgia State Prison, Georgia Highway 147, Reidsville, Georgia, United States. Baker was held as a 'slave woman' by her employer Ernest Knight and she shot him in self-defense during a struggle. Baker was the only woman in Georgia to be executed by electrocution.
