Anna Barbier-Ponthus is tortured and strangled by serial killer Thierry Paulin aka Le Tueur de la Pleine Lune at the age of 83 in 10 Rue Saulnier, IXe, Paris, Île-de-France, France.

Barbier-Ponthus was Paulin's first deadly victim. Earlier that day 91-year-old Germaine Petiot was beaten up in her apartment in Rue Lepic but survived.
