Gilmore gained international attention for demanding the implementation of his death sentence for two murders. Gilmore's last meal request was for steak, potatoes, milk and coffee but consumed only the milk and coffee. When asked for any last words Gilmore simply replied "Let's do it."

Unidentified serial killer Mad Butcher of Kingsbury Run aka Cleveland Torso Murderer An unidentified male is pulled out of Cuyahoga River, hacked to death probably three days before in West 3rd Street, Cleveland, Ohio, United States. The head was never found.
