Four paintings are attacked with acid by 40-year-old serial art vandal Hans-Joachim Bohlmann in Schloss Wilhelmshöhe, Kassel, Hessen, Germany. The paintings were Rembrandt's 'Der Jakobssegen - Jakob segnet Ephraim und Manasse' and 'Selbstbildnis mit Barett und Goldener Kette', Nicolaus Maes’ 'Der Apostel Thomas' and Willem Drost's 'Noli Me Tangere (Christus erscheint Maria Magdalena als Gärtner)'.
