 Cop killer Philip Ray Workman is executed by lethal injection at the age of 54 in Riverbend Maximum Security Institution, Nashville, Tennessee, United States. Workman's last meal request was a large vegetarian pizza to be given to a homeless person. The prison officials denied his request and Workman refused to eat anything.
