		Inventor and electrical engineer Guglielmo Giovanni Maria Marconi known for inventing radio 25 April 1874 (+) is born in Bologna, Italy. 12 December 1901 (x) realizes the first radio transmission across the Atlantic using a 150m kite-supported antenna for reception-signals in St John's, Canada. 20 July 1937 (-) dies of a heart attack in Rome, Italy.
