Mass murderer Szilveszter Matuska aka The Orient-Express Wrecker 29 January 1892 (+) is born in Csantavér, Serbia. 1 January 1931 (x) attempts to derail the Vienna-Passau Express D-train in Ansbach, Germany. 8 August 1931 (x) places a bomb on the Basel-Berlin Express D-train track in Jüterbog, Germany. 13 September 1931 (x) 24 people die and 120 others are injured in a bomb-attack and subsequent derailment of the Nachtschnellzuges Budapest–Wien by Matuska in Biatorbágy, Hungary. 10 October 1931 (x) is arrested in Wien, Austria. 20 November 1934 (x) is sentenced to death in Wien, Austria. |
