Passengers included president Lech Kaczyński and his wife Maria, former president Ryszard Kaczorowski, the chief of the Polish General Staff and other senior Polish military officers, the president of the National Bank of Poland, Poland's deputy foreign minister, Polish government officials, 15 members of the Polish parliament, senior members of the Polish clergy, and relatives of victims of the Katyn massacre. Wednesday 19th of August 1936 (-) — Poet Federico García Lorca is executed by Nationalist Francists of the Falanga Militia. One of them fired 2 bullets in Lorca's behind because he was a homosexual. Lorca was buried nearby the excution site but until today his grave was never found.
