Tuesday 11th of September 2001 (-) — 9/11 terrorist Hani Hanjour crashes with a hijacked American Airlines Flight 77 Boeing 757-223 American Airlines Flight 77 departed from Washington Dulles International Airport at 8:20 a.m. for Los Angeles International Airport with a crew of six and 58 passengers, not including five hijackers. The hijackers crashed into the western side of the Pentagon at 9:37 a.m. and started a violent fire. All 64 people on board were killed as were 125 Pentagon personnel. The four other hijackers were 26-year-old Khalid al-Mihdhar, 24-year-old Majed Moqed, 25-year-old Nawaf al-Hazmi and 20-year-old Salem al-Hazmi.
