Wednesday 18th of May 1927 (-) — Mass murderer Andrew Kehoe detonates dynamite stored inside his shrapnel-filled truck, killing himself and Superintendent Huyck during a struggle Between 16 May and the morning of 18 May Kehoe killed his wife Ellen 'Nellie' Price. He moved her body to a farm building before setting off incendiary explosions in their house and farm buildings. About the same time he had arranged timed explosions in the new Bath Consolidated School building. In all 44 people died and 58 were injured in the explosions. After the bombings investigators found a wooden sign wired to the farm's fence with Kehoe's last message "Criminals are made, not born".
