Thursday 11th of June 1903 (-) — King of Serbia Alexander I is shot dead along Queen Draga Mašin by a mob of soldiers and civilians headed by the anti-monarchist colonel Dragutin Dimitriljevic Apis and Greek Orthodox militant Novak Perisic King Alexander and Queen Draga were shot and their bodies mutilated and disemboweled and, according to eyewitness accounts, thrown from a second floor window of the palace onto piles of garden manure.
