On 20 July 1992 Mays asked his neighbour children 10-year-old Kristin Michelle Wiley and 7-year-old Kynara Lorin Carreiro to lower the volume on their stereo. Kynara answered "No, we're not going to turn it down! Just get out of the house!" Then Mays began stabbing both girls with a knife he took from the kitchen. Mays' last meal request was for six scrambled eggs with shredded cheese, cream gravy, hash browns, pan sausage, orange juice, and milk.

Friday 11th of August 1978 (x) — Medical photographer Janet Parker is accidently infected by a mislaid sample of the smallpox virus.
Parker was placed in quarantaine in the Catherine-de-Barnes Isolation Hospital near Solihull on 20 August and died there on 11 September. Many people had close contact with Parker before she was admitted to hospital, 260 people were being immediately quarantined. Parker became the last person to die of smallpox.
