Peoples was in possession of a backpack that had a stolen badge and identification card belonging to an Alameda County sheriff's deputy. Missing was the deputy's .40-caliber Glock that was later found buried in a muddy field. The gun was linked to four deaths that occurred over a two-week period. A map found in Peoples' home pinpointed the known attacks as well as future targets. (12 November 1997)

Tuesday 22nd of June 1954 (-) — Victim of Pauline Parker and Juliet Hume aka Heavenly Creatures Honorah Rieper is beaten to death by Pauline Parker aka Heavenly Creature. Parker was involved in a lesbian relationship with 15-year-old Juliet Hulme. It is believed that the two girls killed Rieper because Hulme and her father were leaving shortly for South Africa and though Parker wanted to accompany them, her mother forbade it.
