The victims included a 75-year-old woman Narayan, 60-year-old Partibha, her two sons and their wives 30-year-old Priyanka, 46-year-old Bhupi, 42-year-old Savita, 24-year-old Nitu, 22-year-old Meenu, 42-year-old Lalit, and her grandchildren 12-year-old Dhiru, 12-year-old Shivam and 38-year-old Tina. Ten of the bodies were hanged blindfolded and their hands tied behind their back from an iron rail attached to the ceiling and an 11th body was lying on the ground. The family's pet dog was found alive.
