Friday 26th of October 1984 (-) — Ozzy Osbourne fan John McCollum commits suicide by a shot in the head.
McCollum had been listening to Ozzy Osbourne singing 'Suicide Solution' all day long. In a lawsuit McCollum’s parents claimed that there were hidden lyrics in the song that incited the teenager to kill himself. A California court dismissed the McCollums’ lawsuit in 1988, ruling that John’s suicide was not a foreseeable result of Osbourne’s song.
