When 48-year-old Garland police officer Gerald Walker stopped Hittle for speeding, Hittle shot him in the chest at close range. He then proceded to Mary Goss' home, kicked in the door and opened fire, killing 39-year-old Goss, 36-year-old Richard Cook Jr. and 19-year-old Raymond Gregg. After reloading Hittle shot Goss' 4-year-old daughter Christy Condon. Hittle was on parole for killing his adoptive parents at the time of the murders. (6 December 2000)

Wednesday 24th of August 1994 (x) — A five kg pipe-bomb by Xenophobic serial bomber Franz Fuchs is found near the Rennerschule and transported to the airport for closer examination. Police officer Theo Kelz examined the package and it exploded, ripping off both Kelz' hands. Kelz had a transplant of two new hands six years later.
