Sunday 29th of October 1995 (x) — Serial killer Vadim Ershov is arrested
Ershov attacked a 16-year-old girl and tried to take off her gold chain. Her cries were heard by relatives and Ershov tried to hide. One of the local women knocked him out with a fire extinguisher. A police squad arrived and took Ershov to the Railroad Police Department of Krasnoyarsk.
Wednesday 10th of June 1998 (x) — Red Army deserter and Serial killer Vadim Ershov is sentenced to death for robbing, raping and killing 19 people
Ershov reportedly fainted as the sentence was pronounced.
