Thursday 7th of August 1890 (-) — Murderess Anna Månsdotter is executed by beheading. Månsdotter was the last woman to be executed in Sweden. Executioner Albert Gustaf Dahlman hit the block so that the lower jaw and a part of the tongue remained attached to the body while the upper part of Månsdotter's head rolled away.
