Wednesday 6th of April 1988 (x) — Kidnapper and murderer Ferdi Elsas is arrested.
Elsas had spent a marked 250 Gulden bill from ransom money for Gerrit Jan Heijn in liquor store Dirck III in the Kamperfoelieweg in Amsterdam and was later caught on camera. Elsas had shot Heijn dead on the day of the kidnapping, 9 September 1987.
