Falling was a passenger in a car driven by her 19-year-old stepsister Betty Jean Daniels. The two women had taken the baby for routine vaccinations. On the way home Daniels left them alone to pick up some groceries. When she returned to the car Falling announced "The baby ain’t breathing." (14 July 1981)

Thursday 2nd of February 1933 (-) — 53-year-old Léonie Lancelin and her 27-year-old daughter Geneviève are brutally murdered by their maids Christine and Léa Papin. Both Léonie and Geneviève had their eyes gouged out, were turtured, stabbed and finally beaten to death. The two maids were found naked in bed together in their room upstairs.
