Thursday 14th of August 1980 (-) — Playmate of the Year 1980 Dorothy Stratten is shot dead by 29-year-old Paul Snider.
Stratten as well as Snider's naked bodies were found in Snider's room both facially blasted with a Mossberg 12 gauge. Police believed that Snider murdered Stratten and then abused and raped the corpse before turning the shotgun on himself.
