Sunday 10th of May 1987 (x) — Eight members of the Irish Republican Army East Tyrone Brigade are killed in an ambush by the British Army's Special Air Service.
Two IRA member were unarmed when killed and a civilian was also killed and another wounded by the SAS after unwittingly driving into the ambush zone and being mistaken for IRA attackers.
