Falling was a passenger in a car driven by her 19-year-old stepsister Betty Jean Daniels. The two women had taken the baby for routine vaccinations. On the way home Daniels left them alone to pick up some groceries. When she returned to the car Falling announced "The baby ain’t breathing." (14 July 1981)

Saturday 27th of July 2002 (x) — . More than 10.000 spectators attended the air show staged to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Ukrainian Air Force's 14th Air Corps. The Su-27 aircraft entered a rolling maneuver with a downward trajectory at low altitude. It rolled upright once more and was still descending rapidly when the left wing dropped shortly before it hit the ground. 543 people were injured, 100 of whom were hospitalised. Both pilots survived with minor injuries.
