Tuesday 9th of October 1934 (-) — Anarchist and assassin Vlado Chernozemski is struck by a slash from a cavalryman's sabre, shot in the head from a nearby police officer and savagely beaten by the enraged crowd after shooting Alexander I of Yugoslavia to death The driver and Alexander's companion in the car, French Foreign Minister Louis Barthou, were also fatally hit by a stray bullet fired by French police during the scuffle following the attack. For murdering King Alexander I, Chernozemski was posthumously declared the most dangerous terrorist in Europe.
