Wednesday 30th of January 1889 (-) — Crown Prince of Austria Rudolf von Österreich-Ungarn commits suicide by a shot through the head. Rudolf first shot his 17-year-old lover baroness Mary Vetsera and then took his own life. There is no question that the depression-prone Rudolf and Mary had a suicide-pact because his father wanted them to end their affair.
