In July Innocentius VIII fell into a fever. He was said to have been given the world's first blood transfusion by his Jewish physician Giacomo di San Genesio, who had him bathe in the blood of three 10-year-old boys. The boys subsequently died. (25 July 1492)

Wednesday 24th of November 1971 (x) — Hijacker D.B. Cooper jumps from the back of a Northwest Orient Airlines Flight 305 Boeing 727-051 after securing 200.000 $ ransom and four parachutes. Despite an extensive manhunt and protracted FBI investigation D.B. Cooper has never been located or identified. The case remains the only unsolved air piracy in commercial aviation history.
