The victims were 32-year-old Assistant Professor Chen Liang, 44-year-old Associate Professor D. Preston Lowery and 36-year-old Associate Professor Constantinos Lyrintzis. Davidson had intended to kill himself after the shootings but could not due to "pure cowardice".
