On the night of 18 November 18 Knight's screams woke her husband and sister in their home. They discovered Knight writhing in pain in her bed with her skin peeling off her back under her bedclothes. A doctor that was called identified the wounds as some form of burn and gave Knight morphine. She died from toxaemia.

Saturday 12th of April 1919 (x) — Serial killer Henri Désiré Landru is arrested as Lucien Guillet.
At Guillet's house a drivers license with the name of Henri Désiré Landru and a little black book with eleven names of disappeared women in it was found by arresting officers Jean Belin and Riboulet. In the bedroom Landru's mistress Fernande Segret fainted and was found stark naked on the floor.
