Wednesday 11th of August 1976 (x) — Serial killer Bernard Pesquet is arrested. Pesquet was charged with the murders of his lover Julien Quibel in 1941 – for which he spent 20 years in prison – his wife Christiane Ruaux and her presumed lover Hubert Franqui in 1974 – their decomposed bodies were found in his basement – and 73-year-old Emile Bergaud, his 71-year-old wife Elizia and their maid Alfia Borgioni in July 1976.
