George V's physician Lord Dawson of Penn hastened the King's death by injecting him with two consecutive lethal injections: 3/4 gr. morphine followed by 1 gr. cocaine shortly afterwards. The King's last mumbled words "God damn you!" were addressed to his nurse Catherine Black when she gave him a sedative.
