Tuesday 12th of March 1507 (-) — Duke of Valentinois Cesare Borgia is stripped naked and left to die by a party of knights Borgia received a fatal injury from a spear and was then stripped of all his luxurious garments, valuables and a leather mask covering half his face (disfigured possibly by syphilis during his late years). Borgia was left lying naked with just a red tile covering his genitals.
