Wednesday 23rd of July 1986 (-) — Victim of Kenneth Erskine aka The Stockwell Strangler Florence Tisdall is sexually assaulted and strangled by Kenneth Erskine aka The Stockwell Strangler.
Tisdall was partly deaf and blind and could only move around with the aid of a walking frame. On this day she had managed a rare trip out to have her hair done especially for the occasion of the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of York which was being broadcast on television that day. She was Erskine's last victim.
