Archibald Henderson is shot in the head and solved in acid by serial killer John George Haigh aka The Acid Bath Murderer at the age of 52 in 2 Leopold Road, Crawley, Sussex, United Kingdom.

Haigh then lured the doctor's 41-year-old wife Rosalie Henderson to his workhop and killed her as well.
