Founder of the Protestant Truth Society John Kensit dies of pneumonia and blood poisoning at the age of 49 in Liverpool, Merseyside, United Kingdom. Kensit died due to the result of a wound he received in September that year when he was struck by a chisel thrown by a protester as he arrived at a meeting in Birkenhead.
