Ball is known to have killed two and said to have killed as many as 20 women whose remains were fed to his five pet alligators. When two Bexar County sheriff's deputies went to question him, Ball pulled a handgun from his cash register and killed himself with a bullet through the heart.

23-year-old Skrewdriver band member Stephen Flint died on arrival. According to some sources Donaldson's car crash bore all the hallmarks of a Mossad operation. There was a nail in the rear tyre of his vehicle causing a slow leakage of air and the front shock absorber was also leaking.

Multiple child murderer Robert Anthony Bob Buell is executed by lethal injection at the age of 62 in Southern Ohio Correctional Facility, Lucasville, Ohio, United States.

Buell's final meal request was for a single black unpitted olive. Buell was paying homage to to Victor Feguer, the last prisoner executed by the federal government until Timothy McVeigh. Feguer was hanged in 1963. His last meal was an olive with the pit still in it. Feguer told prison officials that he hoped an olive tree would sprout from his body – a sign of peace.

On 20 July 1992 Mays asked his neighbour children 10-year-old Kristin Michelle Wiley and 7-year-old Kynara Lorin Carreiro to lower the volume on their stereo. Kynara answered "No, we're not going to turn it down! Just get out of the house!" Then Mays began stabbing both girls with a knife he took from the kitchen. Mays' last meal request was for six scrambled eggs with shredded cheese, cream gravy, hash browns, pan sausage, orange juice, and milk.

Child killer Travis James Mullis is executed by lethal injection at the age of 38 in Huntsville Prison, 815 12th Street, Huntsville, Texas, United States.

On 29 January 2008 Mullis drove his car with his three-month-old son Alijah James in the backseat after he argued with his girlfriend Caren Kohberger. After he parked his car Mullis proceeded to assault his son sexually. When Alijah cried, Mullis strangled the infant, followed by stomping on his head several times, crushing his skull and leading to his death. After he killed Alijah, Mullis disposed of the body by throwing it at the roadside around Seawall Boulevard, Galveston.
