Wednesday 30th of October 1968 (-) — Actor Ramon Novarro is murdered by 22-year-old Paul and 17-year-old Tom Ferguson.
Novarro had hired the Ferguson brothers from an agency to come to his home for sex but the two young men believed that a large sum of money was hidden in Novarro's house. Novarro died as a result of asphyxiation - having choked to death on his own blood after being beaten. Some say Novarro had in fact been suffocated with a lead dildo given to him 45 years earlier by Rudolph Valentino.
