The first two to reach the camp were a British Special Air Service officer, Lieutenant John Randall and his jeep driver who were on a reconnaissance mission and discovered the camp by chance. (15 April 1945)

Friday 14th of November 1975 (x) — Serial killer Donald Henry Gaskins is arrested when criminal associate Walter Neeley confessed to police that he had witnessed Gaskins killing 28-year-old Dennis Bellamy and 15-year-old Johnny Knight. On 4 December Gaskins led police to land he owned in Prospect where police discovered the bodies of eight of his victims.
